"There's a warm glow to these peformances which is very persuasive.I prefer this to Claus Peter Flor (RCA)which is more

detailed but has less joy and spring in the rhythm.

However,the conductor

is the undervalued Vaclav Neumann(a very fine Mahler cycle to his credit)not Karel Arncel which the other reviewer assumes!"
