CD ReviewsA classic jazz collection New England Pat | Virginia, USA | 07/12/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "This excellent CD set is comprised of five albums that were recorded in the '70s that, for some reason, went unnoticed and faded into obscurity. "Waiting", a 1976 album release, is included here and is a very nice set, especially "Searchin' the Trane", a cut that received substantial airplay on jazz-fusion FM radio stations. Bobby Hutcherson is backed by a wonderful set of musicians and his clear, bell-toned vibraphone is front and center. Hutcherson also plays the marimba on several cuts on this CD collection. The accompanying booklet has lots of information about the personnel, the compositions, running times, historical background on the original vinyl records and photos. This package is indeed a keeper because none of the albums have ever been converted to digital format until now."
