Blue Six is the brainchild of Naked Music founder Jay Denis, a former New York City rock musician who saw dance music as his ticket out of obscurity. His Blue Six debut, Beautiful Tomorrow, is a virtual world of pristine house groove and ambient soul mood, with live instruments and sensual singers creating a glowing sonic tableau. Whether dancing or chilling, you'll find that Beautiful Tomorrow is a luxurious soundtrack for greeting the dawn. Beyond an occasional minimalist vibe, the only differences between tracks are the singers, who offer individual takes on the soul-diva template. Lisa Shaw opens the album with "Let's Do It Together," followed by Monique Bingham singing "Close to Home." Catherine Russell adds a personal touch to the title track and "Very Good Friends." "There are quite a few one star reviews here that find this CD boring. This isn't trance, nor is it heavy, pumping, dance music. This isn't dense house, either. This is a deep house/downtempo combination."

"Yes. You read that right. Genius times ten. Blue Six is the alias of producer and Naked Music co-founder Jay Denes and this album is just one beautiful example of Dene's incredible style. I can only hope the rest of the country quickly discovers Denes work and demands networks to give him airplay. I cannot find the words to describe the synaptic connection he makes with his music. I feel I would undersell the quality of his productions to even try. Let's just say this... BUY this album, play it three times and call me in the morning. 'Cause, whether you're rollin' down the highway, rollin' in the hay, jogging to keep in shape or free-form dancing in the kitchen, Denes music will rock your world. fin."
