This horror was hiding in front of your face

"Ah, Bleed the Sky. How we, your humble listeners, have missed you. You, with your pounding riffage, always great lyrics, and your wonderful screaming. Oh how we have yearned for your long-awaited return.

Thus we are greeted with your debut-topping Murder the Dance. "How do you do it?" I am forced to ask. Paradigm in Entropy was such an exhilerating listen that I enjoy to this day. And yet, you have seemingly taken every great aspect from that and pushed the envelope even further. Your distinctive screams are even more intense, your singing is more polished and all around better, your riffs demand more attention and your drums pound harder than imagined.

I must admit, however, I was becoming agitated that it took you fellas this long to grace us with your presence again. Murder the Dance, though, is the only reason you must provide, for from beginning to end there is not one song that deserves to be passed over. Even your foray into the unknown, Occam's Razor, proves you can pull a complete 180 and surprise your most loyal of fans.

Even with the new ground being covered, you still manage to present us with some of your best material to date. Murder the Dance and Bastion are proof positive that you are a band to reckon with. Oh, Bleed the Sky, I must declare, that the ending to your title track simply blew my mind, for you have never seemed as focused or angry.

Here, just for posterity, are my favorite songs. Sullivan, Murder the Dance, Occam's Razor, Bastion, and The Demons That Could Be. So from now on, as a pledge to you, oh mighty Bleed the Sky, I shall never doubt you again. For those who have not yet picked this up...Go...Now..."
