CD Reviews

IT IS NOT AN SACD!

"I bought this for the SACD mentioned in the description. However, after receiving it, I found that it does not contain an SACD, but a standard DVD (not even DVD-Audio). I did a little research and discovered that Paranoid was never released on SACD. THE DESCRIPTION IS WRONG - NO SACD. I contacted Amazon about the blatant error, and they responded with "...blah blah blah, talk to the seller..." They didn't even acknowledge the erroneous description that I brought to their attention. I noticed that another review mentioned that the error was corrected, but as of the time of my purchase, and of this writing, it is still wrong."
I really need to read all the reviews posted before buying!!

"Maybe all who were duped can file a lawsuit against amazon and others involved... i have a difficult time finding true sacds and dvd audio at a decent price that has not been misrepresented or a bootleg. if you are a seller on amazon and want my business in the future please respond to this and refund my money ."
More of an analog sound.

"I compared this deluxe edition to the Rhino remaster and the deluxe edition has more tape hiss and less over all level, which is probably closer to the original vinyl sound. Rhino sounds good, it has noise reduction to bring down the hiss and compression/limiting to make everything sound at the same loud level, which is perfect for your ipod. Which is best? I prefer the good old analog sound, less compression which gives more dynamic range to the music, but the Rhino release isn't bad like some say. The bonus tracks are fun to listen to, they're mainly instrumental versions, you hear the detail in the instruments which is nice. The quad mix isn't great but interesting to hear surround sound from back then. The artwork and packaging are nice too. Enjoy!"
