"This is the very young Crosby singing some of his biggest hits of the late 1920s and early 1930s. If you are a fan of the Crooner this is a must. His jazzed up phrasing on songs like "One More Time" is a revelation and further proof of the strong rhythmic sense that underpinned all of his work. Some of the songs creak but it is all highly listenable. My year-old son could not help but dance to the bass-break in "Make Believe". The recording of "Just a Gigolo" preserves the poignant introduction. I could go on - just a wealth of great stuff! The Japanese remastering is probably as good as it gets, too."
