Another Gaither Homecoming Winner
kathybill | Des Moines, Iowa | 11/29/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

""Mountain Homecoming" has to be one of the best to date of the Gaither Homecoming Series. I particularly loved Stephen Hill's rendition of "Lead Me to that Rock". Hill's voice is haunting. He obviously knows his way around a tune. Squire Parsons singing in trio with Joy Gardner and Wesley Pritchard do a beautiful treatment of "Is Not This The Land of Beulah", followed by Squire doing his own "Beulah Land"."God on the Mountain", Lilly Fern Weatherford's signature song is a highlight featuring Lynda Randall's clear, pure vocals. If you love the Lord, and like Southern Gospel, you'll fall in love with this winner from Bill Gaither."
ANOTHER TOP NOTCH COMPILATION OF SONGS
Jack Davis | Dallas, Tx USA Radio Network | 10/27/1999

"You need to add this one to your collection. There are 22 cuts. I like their version of "I Have Returned", "Jesus Saves" & "Go Rest High on That Mt."More than 70 minutes of heart wrenching excitement!"
Absloutely Wonderful

"I got my videos and music this past week. I haven't wanted to do anything else since except listen. Janet Paschal's song is wonderful, as well as the ones peformed by Vestal Goodman and Cynthia Clawson, etal, and the entire group on "Peace Shall Come". The group song is one of the most heart warming songs I have heard in quite a while. Allison Durham Speer absolutely outdoes anyone on the "...Meet You on the Mountain" tape when she sings "I Will Glory in the Cross" I have never heard the song performed as beautiflly as the way Allison does it."
