Nice collection well performed

"This collection of Catholic sacred choral music is performed by the same choir at St. John's college at Cambridge that premiered the motets According to the liner notes Berkeley who was Catholic had so much influence at as a sacred music composer that many of his works became well respected by both Anglicans and Catholics. .

My favorite works were the Missa Brevis at a total of ten minutes, the lord is my shepherd which begins as a solo that is so beatiful itbrought tears to my eyes as did the A festival overture which is a setting of a poem by Herbert.

If your are interested in twentiethn cenury sacred music check this out.
