And this was their first album I bought -- for no particular reason. It was an excellent choice. It's not as energetic as some of their other work, as they use mostly the fiddle, whistles, and even a harp on slow, soothing songs. The pace does pick up, however, with the last four pieces.My personal favorites are #1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 12 - 15. Track 14 was quite an unexpected treat. It starts off in the traditional country style, but after about 3 minutes it goes Scottish country. I love the bluegrass bagpipes!This album is a great introduction to the band with music that will never get old. It's not quite representative of their current style, but it is no doubt worth buying."
