Superfluous, but worthwhile.

"This is the original Arista "Greatest Hits" issued before the label got greedy and split up Barry's hits into three separate 10-track CDs. It is the CD issue of the original 1978 two-record set which chronicled Barry's first five years as hit maker extraordinaire. It has, since its original issue, been eclipsed by "Ultimate Manilow" and "The Essential Barry Manilow", but it does have the original studio version of "New York City Rhythm", "All the Time", "Beautiful Music", and the full 6:49 version of "Could It be Magic", three of which are missing in action on "Essential". As a portait of the heady 70s, it is an essential purchase; used for 99 cents, it is a no-brainer. For that price, pick it up for the rush of one classic hit after another for over 70 minutes, and to complete your Barry collection."
