What A Perfect Combination

"It was an inspired decision to pair Barbara Rosene with Vince Giordano & his Nighthawks, and the results transport us back to the golden age of music, when speakeasies flourished, and the only musical medium was a 78 record. Here that era has been recaptured in the audio equivalent of glorious Technicolour! Every number is a knockout, Barbara is in fine fettle as she gilds these lyrics with her dulcet tones, and the accompaniments simply sparkle. This is a sublime CD, enhanced by a very detailed liner note. Get it, you won't regret it.
