Several lives in just one?
Hiram Gomez Pardo | Valencia, Venezuela | 06/17/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is essentially, the final sum of a genius.

The serene but extraordinary life of this admirable human being can be analyzed from diverse angles, he was a prodigious musician, but also a profound thinker a honest and noble man: in words of Karl Jaspers he belonged to Aristos race.

His performances about Bach are exquisite, filled of greatness, without affection or sentimentalism. But Albert was an eminent doctor and decided to consecrate his entire life to preserve and prolong the life of countless forsaken poor people in Africa.

His Bach however it is not merely spiritual. It is dramatic strong and captivating. Try to get all what you can from this unusual musician: a true nature's gift, from the same lineage of Pau Casals, Martha Landowska, Joseph Szigetti, Wilhelm Fürtwangler or Wilhelm Kempff.
