Jeremy D Vosburgh | West Sand Lake, NY United States | 12/29/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Daniel Taylor and Ann Monoyios both are exceptional in these festive cantatas by Bach. Cantata 51 is especially wonderful, as is the wedding cantata. Taylor's and Monoyios' voices ring out clearly and beautifully. The choir is a little large and clarity in the choruses sometimes is less than stellar.
Overall, five stars because of the soloists, 4 stars for the instrumentalism and the choir. This is quite a find." |
