One of the best CDs of the new millennium. First discovered thanks to the track "My First Trip To Mars" being on a guitar sampler disc. Highly melodic, very accessible, good variety of moods. Soundtrack, the opener, starts off sounding like the Cure around "Disintegration" but then develops into something almost prog. If you like the poppier side of Marillion or melodic bands like Vertical Horizon then this is a no-brainer.

They now have a new CD out (in 2010) as well.

CD Reviews

INCREDIBLE debut release (too bad they disband)

"Short and sweet....by FAR the best CD released in the last 10 years. Unfortunately they broke up. Todd Evans has a new band called THE GOLDEN (www.thegoldensounds.com), so look for their new release sometime after the first of the year. Can't say enough about this CD....and I'm 48 years old."

"Atticus Fault is the best I've heard in long, long time. Lyrics are passionate in some songs and playful in others, either way the words are brimming with imagery. "Mary Mother" gives you insight you may never have pondered--you may never look at another Christmas card without Todd Evan's voice and lyrics haunting you. "Silver Stars" is tough and hurting, someone dumps you to grab a pair of "shimmer wings". "Little People" is a battle cry against those who sabotage our bodies and souls, undermining faith and virtue. Listen to "Once Around the Sun" next time you celebrate a wedding anniversary and are past twenty years together; it's what crosses your mind, vulnerable and full. AF touches the heart. Guitar work is fantastic, bouyant on "Soundtrack". Drummer is the heartbeat you can't rock without. Vocals are searing at times and then plaintive but not groveling; other times you can hear the smile on Todd's face. Buy it, these guys SHINE. Beautiful cd artwork, too."
