ARC's (UK electronic veterans Ian Boddy and Mark Shreeve) music is deeply routed in the traditions of 1970's German synthesizer music, and as such they employ a vast range of vintage analaogue equipment (i.e. the massive Moog IIIC modular system), making live performance, particularily in the US, difficult. Thus, the concert held at the suitably atmospheric St. Mary's Church in Philadelphia on 11/14/09 was a groundbreaking event. Ranging from vast mellotron chordal passages to intensely intricate sequencer work, Shreeve and Boddy prove they are masters of this form of electronic music.

"Recorded at st. mary's church in philadelphia, 2009, this live cd is firmly grounded in the berlin school of electronic arts. ian boddy and mark shreeve provide the electronic soundscape for this beautiful cd. think mid-term tangerine dream rubycon/phaedra-era. 5 pieces of long performances totalling 75 minutes. clearly this duo are creative and well-trained in their craft. i'd recommend this cd for anyone who likes to take a long imaginary journey somewhere out there in the far reaches of your mind. back cover says the cd is limited to 1500 copies. this should sell out relatively soon."
