it is a wonderful thing to see Apocalyptica come into its own; I TOTALLY love their covers, but original music is always best. Check out 'Not Strong enough', with a guest vocalist from ShineDown... The whiskey smooth voice and the completely awesome lyrics make for a numero uno all the way. Then there is 'Sacra' and 'Beautiful'... wow, boggles the mind. Even the DeathMetal anthem 'bring them to light' with the vocalist from Gojira, my god! My one complaint is 'broken pieces', the young woman from Flyleaf sounds like Lindsay Lohan back when she thought she could sing. (yes, that bad). The music is suave and haunting, and the voice to go with it should have been as well.
My dream? To have either Sarah Brightman or Tarja Turunen sing with Apocalyptica,on some soulful track written by Eicca himself. These ladies have vocal ranges of 3 octaves,so just imagine the wonders they could do with the cello artistry of Apocalyptica.
