Z'ev's solo performing began in 1975, during which time he developed a unique and influential form of instruments and techniques. These innovations became widely known after 1978, when he became a major figure within the industrial music scene, recording numerous albums both as solo artist and in collaboration with others. A recent retrospective of his work has been released by TOUCH under the title One Foot in the Grave. Ramona Ponzini is a close associate of Italian improv duo My Cat Is An Alien, cooperating with them on projects such as Painting Petals on Planet Ghost (Time Lag Records, A Silent Place) and Praxinoscope (A Silent Place).
