"this is a start-to-finish type of album... i avoided listening to it for a while, but finally sat down and gave it some time, which turned out to be time well spent. little did i know that there was a sound for the color purple... AC figured it out and they laced pretty much every track with a hit of that warm, gushy color. you may have seen Feels classified as a rock album, but it's a stretch - and can only wrap around half the album. there's a second dimension in the other half that keeps you guessing and debating as to what precisely is in your ears. hint: quit trying to classify and just go with it - feel the generous, colorful sound that will turn into pages of your diary 5 years from now when you listen to it again and remember that sunny spring day when you first opened your ears to music that says "yes, you can be creative - it is possible to do something that hasn't been done before, so go for it!""
