"This CD contains songs I have never heard before, but this is not their best work. When the Andrews Sisters emerged in the era of true swing and into big band, much of their work was exciting and magical. But these recordings are all from after World War II and into the early 50s, when pop music was arguably in a creative doldrum. These songs just don't hold up as well as their earlier recordings because the music isn't as interesting to hear all these years later. Stick with collections of their songs from 1937-1946."
