Yates | FL, USA | 06/22/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'd held off on getting this because I'd read a lot of negative reviews of it, and people I know online said it was a pretty lack-luster. Well, to be honest, I don't know what they've been smoking, because this a good album. Very good in fact. As with Royal Hunt, Andre has a lot of keyboards, orchestration, and good hooks. Lyrics are in the emotional department, and they're quite heartfelt IMO. The main complaint I've heard about Changing Skin is the vocals. Well, sure, the guy on here isn't DC Cooper or John West, but he fits the music perfectly. He has a warm voice that can be very haunting. In short, if you love Royal Hunt, you'll most likely enjoy this. I regret delaying my purchase of this now..."
