Amor de Lonh: The Distant Love of the Troubadours ~ Anonymo
Bjorn Viberg | European Union | 10/08/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"There is this common misconception that the middle ages should be known as the dark ages for culture, arts, music and literature. This is simply not true and this album in question Amor de Lonh: The Distant Love of the Troubadours~ Anonymous clearly demonstrates that the middle ages clearly also was a time for amazing music , vocal skills and refinement that can match anything produced during other ages such as Baroque and any other era for that matter. Yes it does sound quite different then what we are used to but the skill of the musicians, vocalists and lyricists leave no doubt that this was indeed also an age filled with splendid ability in the art of composition, performance, and an age filled with refinement and culture."
