"While checking the availability of other Alex Bevan CD's, I just had to stop in and say something about this release, which I have owned for years.



It never gets old. Perhaps "Another Laugh on Cleveland Blues" is a bit dated in its specific references, but still loads of fun, as is "Pass It On". But you will listen to this CD over and over for songs like "Grand River Lullabye", "I Ain't Lonely" and the achingly beautiful "Autumn Melody". ("All the summer's memories- they shine like children out of school...")

The guitar work is a pleasure, the vocals are sweet and true, and the writing is poetry that touches the real joys and longings we all experience in life.
