CD Reviews

Ironically Great!

"The single "ironic" became my favourite single the day I bought Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill". When I first heard this song back in 1996, it instantly became one of my favourite singles. Great video, soothing sounds, great vocal performance, and reasonably good lyrics make this song great. Buying this edition, you also get the Grammy-award winning "you outta know". It's no surprise than this is my favourite song that has been sung by Alanis. Later on, Alanis continued her great vocal performances with "thank you" and "hands clean". Yet "Ironic" is still my favourite "Alanis" song. Although the single is more of a "Celine Dion fan" single, new age fans like those of Enya may also find this single soothing. Buy this and like it, then you should also check out Alanis' live "MTV unplugged" album. The "Ironic" unplugged version is also great!"

"Definitely the best artist on the chick-rock scene! Seeing her in concert was as life changing as a near death experience."
