It is refreshing and original music where the flute and percussion produce a calm soothing rhythm, that is supported by the violin and viola. Each instrument draws attention to itself at some point then fades into the background, as the next instrument is given the center of recognition. Strong emotions melt away ... what remains is a peaceful, flowing sensation that stays with the listener for several hours after playing the music. Diane and David Arkenstone have composed and produced one track for each of the sacred monuments in the Southwest that nature carved over centuries ...The music is reminiscent of the mysteries of nature and helps the listener tune into the sacredness of life.
