"At over two hours, this live performance from the summer of 2002 is probably one of the best live concert videos bar none. It features a host of top-shelf vocalists: the great Gnonnas Pedro from Benin, Eugene Shoubou from Haiti's Tabou Combo, heart-throb Koffi Olomide from Congo, Ronnie Barro's extremely strong voice on "Trovador" and "Colombia Mi Corazon", Sekouba Bambino et al. The trumpet and trombone section scream underpinned by a relentless tidal wave of percussion.
The dancers (on some tracks) are not only fluid but sensual to nth degree! The 12-camera crew does an extraordinary job without gimmicks. You right are in the massive group waiting to riff! No blow-you-out-of-the water lights, just well done with Parisian aplomb. It's a music video that is to be reckoned with. Buy it, make sure it's patched through your high-end amp and turn it up. I've found that Champagne accompanies this tour-de-force very well."
