CD Reviews

Bumping compilation

"this double collection has quite a few familar names and songs on here from Earth, wind and fire, lisa, lisa and the cult jam, the Whispers, but then there are other jams on here that you hardly see or hear on general dance compilations and that is what make any compilation interesting and good for the ear. always trying to find out that rare jam that didn't get over played back in the day. this multi set has a good balance and blend of jams that work and will keep a Crib full of Heads Bopping well into the night."

"At a time when MTV had to be coerced to play black artists (i.e. Michael Jackson), Many songs received minimal airplay and thus met minimal success. If you want an 80's compilation album of the hits, this album is not for you. If you want a rare finds when black music was primarily quarantined to the AM dial. this is a goodie, although it breaks into the 90's, and not all the tunes qualify as 80's groove. I likes!!"
