are pleasant as well as intelligent. The emotional range in nearly all the pieces runs from piquant curiosity, witty humor
& sunny daydreams to intelligent, well meaning (and funny) satire on the human condition. Difficult to sum up in words, but
DELIGHTFUL & INTELLIGENT are two words that come to mind. A FIVE STAR cd in both quality and value."

"It is impossible to pretend any objectivity over this exquisite recording of three of my very favorite 20th century wind quintets: the Hindemith, Barber, and Janacek. I had never heard Larsson before this recording, but it's a fine fit. You cannot go wrong with this recording. Enjoy."
