I think that if you recieve a broken CD it is not the blame of the sender, it is the fault of the USPS for using their sorting machine even though it is marked as fragile, and if any members of SACD is going to get upset they should vent their anger at the USPS and not at the sender. I have recieved CD's that are bubble wrapped with two pieces of cardboard and they are still broken. And yes I have recieved many CD's that are wrapped in just paper and they are fine. I also belong to Blockbuster Online and rent DVD's through the mail, their shipping method is just a paper sleeve inside of a paper envelope. I think in the two years of renting DVD's I have recieved two damaged discs. I wonder how they code their envelope's???
Another solution would be to have the SACD administration require all senders to mail the CD in its case. |
