CD Reviews

One of the best "Techno" Collections ever
T. Gore | Neu Joisy | 01/15/2006

"When Tresor was first released in 1992, I felt it was way ahead of its time. Tresor was probely the first CD that I had heard that actually could define the music as "Trance" Even though its 14yrs later since its release, it still sounds as good today as it did then. Even though most Electroinica fans might consider the songs dated, I wouldn't disagree. Most of the tracks are dated, yet I believe that if you are a huge eletronica fan, this CD is very important to have in your collection. The one track that really stands out of this CD is System 01's "Drugs Work" This song defines true "Trance" and the after a minute of a nice introduction, the song has a bass line that kicks in that will pound in your chest (its so deep, you better have a good sub that can get low, or you won't hear the bass line) Also one of my favorite Trance songs of all time is MindGear's "Don't Panic" Its over 10min long and it is a song that is one of the most beautiful songs that has ever been written in the Electroinca genere. I can't stress how much you should add this to your collection as I promise that even though dated, you will treaure this for years to come..ENJOY"
Terrific early 90's German techno

"If you enjoy 80's/early 90's European techno, like Kraftwerk, Manufacture or Shamen, then you'll probably like this disc. A nice variety and good quality recordings make this compilation of early 90's German techno/club tracks a definite keeper."
