CD Reviews

An historic look back
Stephen Tobolowsky | Los Angeles, CA | 05/12/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"It's hard to put together a comprehensive look at the blues. First their is so much material to look at and secondly there is so much repetition in the types of music under the umbrella of the Blues. This collection has some unique cuts, old favorites, and it represents a nice smattering of the real giants of the genre. Something for everyone"
Where's the sound?

"The audio is really lackluster. I have to punch everything up to fill the room. I know the post modern stuff is that way, but the electric tunes are poorly engineered. If I had it to do over...I'd pass."
