"This volume of the series is targeted at the lesbian market, so all vocalists are women--but there's no continuity to the style of music. So this is one you buy simply to find some favorite tracks on CD. Big find on this volume is "Say it Say it" by EG Daily. Her album was never released on CD, so this is a way to get the LP length (too bad it's not the 12"--although, the 12" actually omits a vocal part that is on this version!). You also get the full length album version of At Seventeen by Janis Ian, rather than the usual 7" edit. My only real disappointment is that the "blaster mix" of Eria Fachin is almost 30 seconds shorter than when it originally appeared on vinyl 12"! Track times:
1. at seventeen (4:41)
2. fallen (4:01)
3. moonlight and roses (3:22)
4. alison (3:03)
5. sweet jane (3:34)
6. radical(remix) (3:37)
7. twist in my sobriety (4:50)
8. voices carry (4:20)
9. sex (i'm a) (5:05)
10. say it say it (4:26)
11. happenin all over again (jewel & stone mix) (6:24)
12. savin myself (blaster mix)(6:51)
