Once again, another Madacy rip off. This label keeps putting out these terrible re-recordings hoping that no one will notice until it's too late. Avoid most, if not all, of the Madacy products. Definitely NOT worth the 3 credits unless you have never heard these songs before.

It is difficult to notice on the written description of this collection that these are NOT the ORIGINAL recordings ( with the exception of 2 of them).
I missed the fine print and should have scrolled down to the review which mentioned this.
Music is nice if you don't mind the difference between the original and the new recordings.

Some great songs on here, but remember that these are NEW studio recordings, by the original artists, with the exception of about 2.
The new recordings just don't sound the same to me, even though they're the original artists.
One star is too high of a rating

"One star is too much. These are the original artists, but not the original renditions. Only three (3) are the original releases. The rest are rehashed and sound terrible. You'll get more enjoyment sitting by the radio hoping the oldies station will play the song you want to hear."
Don't Be Fooled! These are NOT the versions you remember!!

"I bought this 3-CD set, thinking that I would get a great compilation of the songs I used to play on the radio back in Ohio -- WRONG! These are "all new stereo recordings" and they ain't that great. if you remember these songs -- note for note and nuance for nuance -- like I do, steer clear of this one. You will be sorely disappointed. Even some of the notes are wrong in these new arrangements!! Original Artists is simply not a true representation. The Rhino collections are what you want if you like to relive old memories."
