What are you waiting for?

"If you don't like Terry Adams (or NRBQ) you havn't heard 'em yet! In the immortal words of Penn (of Penn and Teller fame) "If you don't like NRBQ, I don't like you!"...These guys (the Q crew show up on several tracks) have been refered to as "America's fab four"...This, Adams only solo release is well worth the effort! Great songs, incredible musicianship, and a lot of fun! What more could you ask for?"
Terry Adams seems to have it all figured out

"Terrible is one of those CDs which can be worn out from playing it so many times, without ever becoming dull or uninteresting in any way. This is the sort of CD i can put on for ANY crowd (similar to NRBQ disks) and notice feet tapping and get questions on who is on the stereo. I believe Terry Adams will be remembered as one of the 20th century's best artists (along with his NRBQ-mates). Keeping well enough underground to preserve his obscurity, yet with a large enough cult following, it seems Terry has figured out how to balance his career perfectly. This shows on Terrible, a very balanced record with great chops, playful melodies, killer beats and a continuity that flows beautifully from beginning to end. Choosing Sun Ra almni doesn't hurt either. I hope that Adams pursues more solo efforts in the years to come, as he has an incredible gift to offer which deserves to be shared and enjoyed by as wide a circle of music/art lovers as possible, and this gives him an additional avenue of expression beyond the realms of NRBQ. A Desert Island Selection even, to be cliche! Go pick it up ASAP if you are wondering..."
Just plain Brilliant.

"Just plain brilliant, full of feeling and vibe. Great compositions, with muscianship to match. On Terrible, Terry Adams displays a beautiful, unique, and soulfull piano style that proves that jazz based music can at once be fun and sublime. Many of Mr. Adam's better known contemporaries, would do well to take a listen."
