Wham! Bam! It's so glam!

"In 1992, the "glam era" was mostly over. Too bad these guys didn't come along sooner. With nods to the New York Dolls and T. Rex as well as the Rolling Stones and AC/DC, these guys were one of the best glamsters on the scene. From their funkified cover of Alice Cooper's "Nervous" to the undiscovered classic "Groovy Guru Gangster Girl," Star Star give us an album of true glam. You can't even really call this stuff "metal" -- it's too sleazy and groovin' and not so much heavy as throbbing. Check out "Fly Boy," "Diggy Dragster" and "My Little Cuisinette" to see what all those glam bands were trying to accomplish!"

"If this album had been released in 1989 it would have been huge. If you're a fan of bands like Faster Pussycat, Hanoi Rocks, Pretty Boy Floyd, Shotgun Messiah, Vain, or the Sea Hags you MUST have this album. I just discovered it recently and it's like finding lost treasure. I adore it. Truly Groovy.
