CD Reviews

Three True Ladies of Western Swing
Leland W. Morris | York, PA | 12/02/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"These country jazz / western swing fiddlers know how to make you HAPPY ! I truly love em and that style of music always lifts my spirits. Joey the guitar player is unreal too, and is a WORLD champion fiddler himself. They are bringing back even some of the old Mills Bros. tunes and putting a completely swingin twist on it. Just simply the BEST music available. Put a CD on with these young ladies and another with Hot Club of Cowtown, and you've got a sweet day right there fillin' up your ears and your mind.... with a BLESSING. S W E E T"
A Must Have for Lovers of Western Fiddle Music
M. Mott | Elko, NV | 10/25/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Elko, NV has an annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering. In Jan of 2005 I went to my first one and by luck caught the Quebe (pronounced "kway be") Sisters. They were an instrumental group at the time and later (2007 if my memory is correct) started singing with their fiddling. For old timers their harmony is reminiscent of the McGuire Sisters.

They sing and play a variety of music, but manage to keep a sense of western swing in whatever they do. Other reviews have covered their musical ability and I agree with those comments.

These young ladies may not be well known, but their music is a good addition to the library of anyone who loves western fiddle music."
Wholesome and top notch!
Michael S. Jones | Groton,NY | 05/06/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This music is extremely uplifting and has been a great inspiration for my homeschooled girls. But more than that, my hats off to these folks because they are sensitive to the history of their genre of music in America and don't trample on it. Their music is on the cutting edge of presenting a lifestyle that is wholesome, happy, hard-working and supportive of real talent. I sincerely wish the best for these girls as they progress into womanhood. May they have wisdom to use their talents to bring back an important part of American lifestyle! Bravo!

P.S. my 18-month-old son Malachi bops his head up and down with this!"
