An unchallenged Winner

"With a name like The Porkers and an album named Hot Dog Daquiri you can never be completely sure what you're getting. At first you think that this is a bunch of wanabee comedians that have put together the album. With songs like the hilarious "Smoke on the Porker" and the somewhat deranged "Enter Porkman" build your impression that this is definitely one for the comedy record books. It's only a few minutes later that this album is so much more. As you listen to the band you'll notice that these are really quite talented people. "Buyer-Logical" sets a fast pace as probably the best song on the album. A lot of the songs are written like this one in that they may appear odd but really make quite a lot of sense. All in all this is a fantastic album with some great songs in there with a hint of comedy. You'll never get tired of the Porkers and Hot Dog daquiri delivers in a heart stopping manner."
This is a good album.

"While the Porkers continue their crazy wackiness on this album, their songs have really matured in nature. The cd opens up with the extremely catchy song "Enter Porkman," this shows off their excellent horn section, and great rythim section, and shows they can sing too. This album shows that they can also write songs that arent total ska-punk. Songs like "Perfect Teeth" show that they don't have to just act crazy on every single song and play as fast as possible. There are more better songs on this cd than there are on the others, and overall is a much better cd in aspects ranging from production to the actual music."
Awesome ska!

"This is a great follow-up to Grunt! Some bands get worse with age, but it seems the Porkers age like wine! An absolute must if you like ska of ANY kind!!"
