Orange Sky has what you have been looking for, the hard and fast style of a rock band, with the subtle influence of Reggae. It sounds great, every track has its space they all tell a different story and it sucks you in. The singers voice takes a little getting used to...but so does the singer from MIDNIGHT OIL, AC/DC even GUNS AND ROSES but we all found a place in our hearts for them. I really love the new metal feel lurking in the background and OH MY GOD! the lead guitar textures are so cool, I am not one for guitar solos but they are done in good taste. THE DRUMS are BOOMING in my headphones ITS ALL GOOD! This CD is very good , if you like to discover new bands its a great buy........if you like MUSIC buy it......no matter what other people say, its up to you if you like it or not in the end, but if you dont like it, give it to someone who does ( the love of your life? maybe)." |
