It's So Obvious
Kellie Thompson | West Memphis, Arkansas | 03/14/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"4Him is an outstanding group. This recent album "Obvious" proves their talent as well as their relationship with Christ. They continue to prove that no matter how "contemporary" their music is, their platform is still the same - the only way to get to heaven is to first go to the cross. So many contemporary christian artists have lost their focus on who they are supposed to be singing about. Many of them are so conformed to this world instead of being transformed (John 3:17) that you can't tell if they love Jesus or love the world. I have been to many, many concerts and a lot by 4Him. I can honestly say that not many concerts set aside a time to lead you to the Savior like 4Him. I admire them for the stand they take against the world and for the stand they take for Christ. If you don't come away from their concert with a desire to change your life, even for christians, something may be wrong. I praise God for them because they portray that it should be "Obvious" who we live for - Jesus. In the words of Mark Harris from their concert that was recently held in Cordova, TN, "you can't be all you need to be for Christ until you are crucified with Him and give him authority over everything in your life." May God Bless You."
God continues to move through their music ...

"I have purchased all of 4Him's eight albums, and enjoy every single one, and recommend them to anyone who might be in search of solid, clean, and soul-piercing truths in music. I've been to a couple of their performaces, and have found them to be honest men of God, always quoting the Bible and pleading of the Spirit for direction in everything they do. They are great examples of what it means to combine music and ministry, and not letting how famous they are or how many albums they sell get to their heads and/or let them down. I enjoy singing, too, and am involved in my church choir, and sing 4Him's songs all the time. And even though at times not all things go right for me, the right Christian song for that particular moment really helps in getting me back on my feet. God is great, and through the music of 4Him, is one of the tools that He's using in my life to demonstrate His love to me as a child of God. I believe the ministry of 4Him will continue to be a blessing for the Christian community, and for the secular as well, because it is genuine, and sincere. God moves through their music...and will continue to move, regardless."
I liked this cd.

"I liked this cd. It wasn't my favorite cd, yet, I still enjoyed it. The song "Mystery of Grace" is very pretty, and I also enjoyed the song "Obvious". Those are my two favorite songs on the cd. If you enjoy Christian alternative you probably will like this cd."
