Synopsis

Album Description
Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the British Synthpop band: Landscape (1979) and Manhattan Boogie Woogie (1982). Landscape were pioneer users/experimenters of the changes in music technology at the time, utilizing computers and electronic drum kits. The band included Richard James Burgess, the producer of many successful acts including Spandau Ballet, King and Living In A Box, and credited as the man behind the world's first electronic drumset, the Simmons SDS-V. Fellow Landscape member, John L. Walters also enjoyed extensive success as a record producer for the likes of Kissing The Pink and Swansway. This is the first time these albums have been available on CD and both have been re-mastered from the original production masters. The CD booklet features sleeve notes, an extensive UK discography and features the single sleeves from the time of the original release. Cherry Red.
