Alyse Black's vocal-based indie-pop is frequently compared to the ridiculously playful Regina Spektor; the spacious, anything-goes Björk; and the soft and throbbing Norah Jones.

Highlights of the album are the driving, energetic "Forever Fairytales"; the atmospheric, Willowing"; the floating, storytale "Into the Sunlight"; the sweet and endearing "B-17 Bomber Girl"; the addictive and fun "Wild Child"; the dark and macabre "Blood & Wine"; and the title track, the Hawaiian-tinged, love-song-of-the-realist, "Hold Onto This."

Alyse's debut record, "Too Much & Too Lovely," received significant indie radio play and won Billboard's Annual World Song Contest among many other awards. Produced, Recorded, and Mixed by Ryan Hadlock (Ra Ra Riot, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Gossip) at Bear Creek Studios.
