Real honors Chapman?s vocal range, lyrical diversity and songwriting skills. Chapman wrote eight of the twelve tracks on her CD and produced the entire project. Saxophonist Ken LeeGrand, of the famed Horns and Things, lends his awesome talent to "Here Am I" a song written by ministry leader Bob Kilpatrick but produced and arranged by Chapman and Drene Ivy. Although Real speaks primarily to a woman?s pain while dealing with life?s issues, the CD focuses on universal healing.
