Sojiro is known for playing the ceramic ocarina. He was born in Tatebayashi city, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. He heard this instrument for the first time in 1975 and released this album in 1988. The music on this CD has a clean, simple sound, squarely in first wave of "New Age" and features the pure sound of the little flute-like instrument masterfully played, backed by synthesizers. His other albums include “Ayumi”, “Orion”, “The Quiet Earth”, and a series called “Ocarina Etude”.
