"OH YES...May 13th 1979, Nassau Coliseum was my first concert too. Peppi with the bat and the garbage can...wailing, "Does it make you FEEL Good?" I don't remember Peppi in the second tier...it was Micky for a guitar solo. Franco's incredible drum solo...Gatto's guitar. Wow...What a show. I was there to see Styx and instead discovered Rock and Roll. What a shame this band never caught on...beyond WLIR. When Great American Music was released, I remember a dj playing them on the old WPLJ, (RIP), saying, "Long Island goes nuts...these are the Good Rats," but they never played them after that. Live At Last, recorded at My Father's Place in Roslyn is still one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. Twenty years too soon...indeed! Rat On."
