Striking deep, run silent, groove heavy

"This was the 5th edition of the annual Freezone series of unreleased, hard-to-find jewels culled and edited by D J Morpheus for SSR/Crammed Discs label. It is possibly the best of the lot. He'd spend a year compiling cuts, arranging, rearranging 100's of songs to get this the precise, subtle sound he desired. These compilations still stand as classics and true testaments of ground zero, chill out, downtempo, trip hop, slumbering ambient beats to lull your night into some heavenly oblivion.
Looking to artist past and present: Spacetime Continuum, Funk d'Void, Eddie Flashin' Fowlkes, Daniel Ibbotson, Ian O'Brien, Recloose, and Buscemi will have you grooving for steady on hours. His signature mix and pallet of possibility would tend to pick you then lay your ass down like some ragged doll done ragged out but pleasantly soul. My suggestion is grab this one, any of them, get them all. This was a cool time when underground still had legitimacy and he was able to move unencumbered to find his chosen, select lot. These have special in every note and groove. Smooth on."
