Synopsis

Product Description
One of the most beloved Hip Hop crews in the history of music, D.I.T.C. (an acronym for Diggin' in the Crates) consists of veteran rappers, DJs, and producers dedicated to the true essence of rap music: original lyrics and strong beat-savvy productions. With their dedication to Hip Hop purity, members Show & A.G. (Andre the Giant), Diamond, Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, O.C., Buckwild, and the late Big L have at least one classic album under their belts. Although they never reached the monetary success of some of their multi-platinum peers, individually they became successful by maintaining their integrity and earning major respect within the rap community. For the first time, all of the classic rare and unreleased D.I.T.C. material is available on one CD. Filled with promo-only, B-side, rare, and unreleased material, Rare & Unreleased is a collection of music from the most raw and most talented group of emcees and producers in the Rap game. Featuring production by Diamond, Buckwild, Show, Ahmed, and Lord Finesse this list of D.I.T.C. emcees showcase their talents and prove why they were and still are some of Rap s finest. Also included are "Day One" and "Best Behavior" which highlight the talents of Big L and Big Pun who have passed away since recording these tracks. Rare & Unreleased is a look back at the golden era of true New York City Rap music and is essential for any true Hip Hop enthusiast.

(5 out of 5 stars)

"These are all classic songs no doubt, but be warned that two tracks (14 & 15) are on here twice (as 12 & 13 respectively). They are titled differently, but they are the same tracks. I dont know who made that error."
