"Grew up in Scotland and was a Chris Barber fan all the way through University and on until I left to come to the USA. These recordings, bring back many happy memories of my younger days and I still think Barber's band and especially Monty Sunshine on clarinet, is one of the best New orleans Jazz Bands I have ever heard and that includes the best of Preservation Hall in New Orleans."
