"The Austin, Texas music scene has produced yet another fantastic artist who is finally sharing his talent with the world through his debut release "Pieces." This project has been under development as Brent has tested these 'Pieces' on audiences all over central Texas. The process culminated in a mature album with a variety of styles, some magnificent acoustic guitar, and some thoughtful writing. This is definitely the album for a Texas summer Saturday night sittin' on the porch sippin' some Sangria. You'll want to get out of that porch swing and ask your love for a dance when Better Day Blues comes up, and you'll hit the replay button on a piece or two where the lyrics intrigue you, and you'll definitely groove a bit to 'Vain' as you close your eyes and a smile ensues. The style range is wide - I could hear influences reminicent of David Wilcox, Bob Schneider, Guy Forsyth, Vertical Horizon, Monte Montgomery and other Texas artists. I'm excited about this album and I think it's got some sophistication. And it's definitely got some staying power as one of the 5 CD's in my player right now."

"This album is a refreshing surprise! If nothing else, this is not another, "me too", independent release. I found the tracks and lyrics to be uniquely genuine. In fact, the artist's lyrics are, in themselves, worth the price of this CD.
The addition of Mr. Adair's guitar playing and his breathe of musical styling only serve to secure this album's place in my disc changer. Thanks"
