"We are NPR junkies at my house, and there's a never-ending trail of paper scraps with book and music titles that strike our fancy. I caught Morning Edition's bit on the Codetalkers but had to leave before the piece finished. (And I bike to work, so that was that.) However, based on two minutes of radio play, on a news show, I decided that I had to order the CD *before the end of the day.* Excellent decision.

The music is absolutely precise. And yet it's completely relaxed, and fun, and, hey--anybody wanna dance? These guys are having fun the way Prince has fun (when he's having fun). It's a fusion of a bunch of stuff, but it's not overwrought. Go. Buy. Listen. Have fun."
Now is the Time......

"For everybody else to realize just how good these guys are. This disc is just a small sample of Bobby Lee Rogers originals

Tyler Greenwell and Ted Pecchio are the best rythm section on the planet. Solid from start to finish. Nothing beats their live shows, nothing. A fusion of Jazz, Funk, Punk, Rock. Bobby Lee is a great songwriter about to bust out. He just keeps churning them out."
The Best New Band I've Heard In Years

"Like many others, I had never heard of The Codetalkers until NPR aired their music. The little bit NPR aired sounded worth buying.

I ordered the CD from Amazon and have been delighted with it. Everyone of my 30 to 40 something friends that has heard it absolutely loved it.

IMO it is picking up the old ground of much older bands like the Allman Brothers, Sea Level or Little Feat. The thing is The Codetalkers ran with the concept and made their own sound. I don't know any other bands just like them.

Since so much radio pop these days has no musical difficulty at all, it is really nice to hear music that can SERIOUSLY jam."
