"I got this album reccommended to me by a friend from Europe, being a euro-music fan I decided to go for it,I don't regret it one bit.Beginning with some latin flavor, a fusion of salsa soul with a touch of mambo( st. Germain-Soul Salsa Soul) to drift off to the Streets of Rio de Janeiro and imagine yourself parading along in the Carnaval do Rio among all the amazing samba schools, to pass on to the European NightClubs, Chic restaurants and the En-Avant Garde Bar Scenes, where all the In People get together to share a few martinis and Cosmopolitans while freeing their minds to the smooth jazzy rhythms of Julee Cruise's- Staring at Me as they gaze at all the beautiful people and the tag along wannabes.Later on it's off to listening to some downtempo sensual tunes (neon funk-sex)that seduce you from head to toe, like Pink Martini's Song of the Black Lizard; in my opinion who is familiar with this tune is definitely if a man, dating a glamorous supermodel and if female has a very exclusive and chic graduate's degree in Fine Musicology. After visiting the exotic lands of Brazil, Paris, Japan (Song of the Black Lizard) and Greece, we make a stop in the beautiful cities of Madrid and Barcelona where a very direct señorita narrates her Wild Passion Night with a beautiful stranger after a fight with her boyfriend ( Camiel-Sigueme).To conclude, who ever purchases this album is definitely in for some worldly delightful treat, it is worth every penny you pay for it, and definitely a Must-Listen to any time of day or night, my reccomendation is to definitely listen to this album at night time, let yourself be seduced by the enchantments of this pharaonic musical masterpiece."
ASI' ASI'...BUT HAS IT'S MOMENTS...

"WHAT'S COOL ABOUT "BLACK MARTINI":*THE PACKAGING...
*THE ALBUM TITLE...
*SONGS FROM--Roby J.C. Project, Patchworks, Camiel, Tao Of Groove, Hazy Rooms, Neon Funk, Fila Brazillia & Cee Mix...
*THE BLACK POLKA DOT DALMATIAN...
*THE SILOHETTE OF THE NAKED WOMAN...IT TOOK ME SOME TIME, BUT AFTER GLANCIN' AT THE COVER A WHILE, I WAS, LIKE--
"OH, THAT'S WHAT THAT IS!!!!!!!"WHAT'S BAD ABOUT "BLACK MARTINI":

*TERRIBLE START...NOTE TO ALBUM-SEQUENCER/SONG-SELECTION PERSON: ONLY ONE SALSA SONG PER LOUNGE CD, PLEASE, UNLESS IT'S SPECIFICALLY A SALSA-LOUNGE CD! (HEY! NOW, THERE'S A NEW CONCEPT FOR WATER MUSIC RECORDS--SALSA-LOUNGE!!)
*"BLACK MARTINI" REALLY DOESN'T CATCH YOU UNTIL SONG #6...
*THE SO-CALLED 'ENHANCED CD'--WAS THIS REALLY NECESSARY??...
*BLATANT ADVERTISEMENT FOR 'BLAVOD'...(IN MY OPINION, THAT WAS TASTELESS, WATER MUSIC, AND AGAIN UNNECESSARY!) ALTHOUGH I'M CURIOUS TO TRY THE DRINK...
*AND LASTLY,JULIE CRUISE...(IS SHE ON EVERY CHILL OUT/LOUNGE CD...NOT A BIG FAN OF HERS)OTHER THAN ALL OF THAT--NOT A BAD CD FOR CHILLIN'--BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK..."
It's ok...I guess for chillin at home only

"I was lookin for some really good unique music.I at first picked up Om lounge 100 that wasnt it and then i picked up Black Martini just by chance and being adventurous. It was ok , a couple of good tracks but this taught me unless you have heard something you like already lounge is definately not the arena to be adventurously blind in .Overall could be a nice part of the collection"
