He started at Sun and contributed as a sideman to many a classic Sun session. He played harmonica, guitar, bass and drums. His band the Little Green Men (Roland Janes and James Van Eaton) became Sun house band. "Red Hot", "Flyin' Saucers Rock & Roll" are outstanding rockabilly numbers and other songs are outstanding too."
